Every component in the fluid path must be capable of being cleaned and drained, and must be of a material that will not contaminate the product. Dead legs and rough weld profiles are the principal risk, and a housing that is technically compliant but difficult to strip down will not be cleaned adequately over time.
Equipment is manufactured in SS 304 and SS 316 with sanitary connections, internal polishing and fully drainable geometry for edible oil refineries, dairies, beverage plants and food processing facilities.
